April 29, 2020, PRIA Healthcare Management is pleased to announce that industry veteran Kelli Hallas has joined the Executive Leadership team assuming the role of Vice President. Kelli is a recognized and accomplished leader in the reimbursement and health economics sector with over 25 years of experience developing and executing strategic reimbursement plans. She has a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. healthcare environment and has supported new medical technologies across numerous clinical applications. Kelli has successfully navigated companies through all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept through commercialization.
For the past 16 years, Kelli was a Principal Consultant at Emerson Consultants, Inc. where she served as company Executive Vice President successfully collaborating with clients to develop and execute health economics strategies with a focus on coverage, coding, and payment. She has strategically supported an extensive representation of products including medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and biologics. She has collaborated with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small startup ventures to established international corporations with a focus on increasing patient access to their therapies and technologies.

Throughout her Consulting career, Kelli has secured numerous CPT and other codes, established payment for new and existing technologies, and has implemented successful payer coverage strategies enabling patient access with Medicare and commercial payers.
Kelli’s reimbursement expertise has not been limited to commercialized products. She has extensive experience developing and managing clinical trial reimbursement and patient access strategies to support coverage and payment from third party payers. She has secured Medicare coverage and payment for new pharmaceutical therapies and medical devices during clinical trials, enabling the collection of critical economic and utilization data to support new technology payment from CMS and CPT codes from the AMA.
“I am looking forward to being part of the PRIA Healthcare team and contributing to new platforms that will increase patient access to new and life changing technologies and therapies,” said Kelli. “My focus will be to develop new patient access platforms supporting investigational technologies during the clinical trial phase through commercialization. By establishing patient access through coverage from third party payers, companies can generate the data necessary to support appropriate payment for new technologies, as well as establish physician adoption patterns and utilization which is critical to the CPT code process.”
