My Background: After attending college in Connecticut, I went into medical capital equipment sales. I spent 9 years working in the med device sales field selling spinal implants for Johnson & Johnson, and I worked closely with their reimbursement team to gain coverage for this technology. I founded PRIA in 2012 after witnessing a decline in the spinal medical sales market as a result of insurers denying medically necessary procedures.
My Goal with PRIA: I founded PRIA to help patients get access to potentially life-saving or life-improving treatments their doctors feel are necessary. Our patients are at a disadvantage in having to deal with the pain and frustration of navigating the insurance pathway and have a diminished quality of life as a result.
Our primary goal at PRIA is to impact as many lives as possible—patients, physicians, staff, and all of our customers. We want to partner with as many medical technology companies as possible to drive adoption of life-changing treatment to help patients and their loved ones.
My Motivation: I care immensely about culture. I also am very empathetic to the feelings of the patients in need. I pride myself on being able to maintain a company culture where our value and strengths reside in the people on our team and the customer service they bring to PRIA’s clients and patients.
On a Personal Note: I love living on the lake and boating. I also enjoy playing hockey and racing anything with a motor!
