Ryan’s function at PRIA Healthcare:

As Senior Director of Reimbursement, Health Economics, and Market Access (RHEMA), Ryan focuses on guiding companies developing new and emerging medical device technologies through reimbursement feasibility assessment, strategy development, and execution of key objectives like obtaining new coding, coverage, and payment. Like the rest of the RHEMA team, Ryan takes a strategic, practical, and opportunistic approach to reimbursement and market access.

Ryan’s life before joining the People of PRIA Healthcare:

In 2015, Ryan co-founded PhotoniCare, a pediatric medical device company, wherein he lead all Reimbursement and Clinical Operations as the company grew from a startup into its current post-market commercialization stage. Ryan quarterbacked engagement with key stakeholders (i.e. FDA, health insurance payers, AMA CPT Panel, and specialty societies) to develop and execute multiple clinical trials to meet regulatory, health economics and reimbursement, CPT, and clinical objectives to achieve market access. When PhotoniCare matured and transitioned to optimize commercial execution, he moved on to now “pay it forward” to the next generation of MedTech companies as a consultant. Ryan joined PRIA to work alongside leading professionals in the MedTech Reimbursement industry, continuously learn from others expertise and diversity of opinion, and shepherd a more diverse array of clients through reimbursement and market access.

Ryan’s life outside of PRIA Healthcare:

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing outside with the dog, and swimming at the pool. Additionally, he enjoys cooking and eating Mexican food, and exploring new recipes – the spicier the better!
